What people visualize in their mind when you say Las Vegas is loud music, colourful lights and craze. But the other side of the coin in Vegas are natural parks, spectacular nature visions, open spaces and the desert. So as to coincide with these beauties, you need to get away the centre of the city and go out of Vegas. Undoubtedly, these natural grandeurs are far away from Vegas, but as soon as you get closer, do not lose the chance of visiting them.

Being 270 miles from Vegas, Bryce Canyon National Park is located in Utah. The entrance costs $ 20 for vehicles. But, money you paid will be unimportant when you visit this priceless wonder. In the Great Basin Rattlesnake, wild life shows you its face with the bald and golden eagles. Some pretty flowers blossom there in the spring and early in the summer.

Located in the southeast of Vegas, the Grand Canyon is 300 miles away. Here is also a fee costing per vehicle. With a desire in your heart to see the canyon, its fee will be affordable for you. Besides, tours that will bring you to all side of the canyon are also available there. Alternatively, helicopter tours are available in the Grand Canyon.

20 miles away Vegas, Floyd Lamb Park is another recreation area. It is open every day from 6 in the morning to 7 at night. It includes four ponds, a barbecue area. In 1977 Floyd Lamb was declared as a state park and now it is open for licensed fishers. They can fish in any of ponds with the restriction of amount of fish. The other feature of this area is to include fossils and remains. It was searched that there are bison, mammoths, camels, sloths, horses and another animal fossils.

For the lovers of outdoor challenging, Lake Mead is another area in Nevada. Being an artificial lake, it is 1.5 million acres. The best pleasures you can get in this area are boating and swimming. Also, if you like searching wild life, it is a suitable area for your observation.

All in all, as we mentioned above, Vegas is a home to outdoor recreation areas. If you are keen on wild life and don’t know where to visit, we suggest you just Vegas. And, even if you are not the seeker of wild life, you should visit these areas just for learning the meaning of beauty in its natural place.

    Great information. I always try to hit up the natural areas outside of Las Vegas. Being right in the middle of the fast-paced city for a while is too much for me.
