Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is a fun-filled adventure for the whole family: it has both thrill rides and endless hours of fun for kids. Get wet on one of the many splashy water rides: Get really wet on the Tidal Wave Log Flume, which lifts you over 40 feet and then.
The water slides are also a guaranteed feet-wet experience. As an alternative to dodgems, you’ll find the Aqua Blaster Bumper Boats. It’s even more fun, because if you’re on the side, waiting, you can splash the riders with water cannons.
In Water Walkerz, kids get inside a large see-through inflatable ball and walk on water. The Maximus roller coaster introduces kids to genuine thrills: humps and banked turns make for a soaring, swooping experience! There’s plenty more fun for kids to be had outside, but there’s lots to do inside, too.
Three huge play areas keep kids busy while you relax and have a cup of coffee. There are six super slides, ball pools, mazes, climbing nets, aerial walkways. There’s even a soft play area for toddlers, and a petting zoo for some animal action. For more information, visit the website of Crealy Park Devon.
Established 23 years ago, Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is a vibrant and welcoming visitor destination year-round, uniquely interpreting the legends of the area and famous for delivering great adventures.
The family owners continue to heavily invest in attractions, facilities and staff, resulting in Crealy remaining strong favourite with local and visiting families alike. Comments received are often encouraging and constructive. Over £2m capital investment has been made 2009-2010 alone.
The Park opens year-round, with annual activities reflecting the seasons. Year round events range from New Babies’ Month in January through EasterFest for Everybunny, Maypole Dancing, SummerFest and HallowFest in October, many unuique to Crealy and the south west of England.
In addition to year-round seasonal festivities, Crealy diversifies to different guests. From day visits to overnight holidays, supervised childcare to bushcraft survival, Crealy guarantees great adventures.
The family campsite, ‘White Deer Camping’ gives acres of countryside, Crealy adventures and even your “very own pony” to love, groom and walk throughout the holiday.
Devon’s Crealy works locally, regionally, nationally and internationally to support the extension of the tourist season.
Volunteer activities include Director of Visit Devon, Vice Chair of the British Association of Attractions , active member of county and international tourism organisations.
Turnover and profitability have both increased considerably in the last 12 months although visitor footfall has declined, perhaps due to three wet summers and price increases. Price increases have been necessary to deliver enhanced quality year round.
