A day at Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester equals an educative and fun-filled day with the world-famous coloured construction blocks.
No matter what age you are, you’ll definitely love learning more about the production of LEGOs – from raw plastic to finished building blocks, ready to be turned into anything you can think.
It’s not just the act of building which makes the park so much fun, though. Take a seat in the 4D Cinema, for example, and experience 3D LEGO adventures with added wind, rain and snow in your face!
There’s plenty of great rides for the kids, including the Forest Pursuit – a driving adventure in which they’ll have to capture LEGO robbers – and the Kingdom Quest – a quest on a chariot with laser guns strapped to it, whereby skeletons and trolls have to be defeated.
The Miniland features landmarks from the surroundings, which of course includes Manchester United’s football stadium Old Trafford.
The kids can let off some steam at the Fire Academy, a colourful jungle gym with a climbing wall and various slides.
So while you sit down for a well-earned rest and a good cup of coffee, you can supervise the kids as they wear themselves out. For more information, visit the website of Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester.
Legoland Discovery Centre is an indoor family attraction chain operated by Merlin Entertainments, a subsidiary of the Blackstone Group. Featuring models and attractions inspired by the Lego building toys, the Discovery Centres are smaller versions of the Legoland theme parks located around the world.
A typical Legoland Discovery Centre occupies approximately 30,000–35,000 square feet of floor area. Like the larger Legoland parks, Discovery Centres include “Miniland” attractions, which feature models of local landmarks rendered in Lego bricks.
Visitors can also learn how the Lego bricks are manufactured or take part in classes taught by model builders.
Locations may also include localized attractions and 4-D movie theatres. All attractions are included in the admission cost to the Centre.
A number of children’s attractions, such as small roller coasters and play fortresses, are also available. The Centres can host birthday parties as well as scholastic and group functions and also include restaurants and gift shops selling Lego merchandise.
