Hanover is a major center of northern Germany, known for hosting annual commercial expositions such as the Hanover Fair and the CeBIT. Every year Hanover hosts the Schützenfest Hannover, the world’s largest Marksmen’s Fun Fair, and the Oktoberfest Hanover, which is the second largest Oktoberfest in the world.


The streets of List region are in use since the foundation of the city. There are many gorgeous structures in Hanover reflecting the royal architecture. St. George, St. Jakubus, and the architectural structures between Marktkirche and Leineufer are the best examples of the medieval times.

It is not over! The history of Hanover is not limited with so little structures. The town hall was built around 1900, and it is like a beacon with its splendid appearance.
