The Banham Zoo is guaranteed to provide a fun and educative day out for visitors of all ages.
The award-winning zoo is famous for its rare species and realistic enclosures. Throughout the day, the animal keepers provide visitors with information about specific animals at one of many feeding talks, including cheetahs, meerkats.
The park has displays of some of the most threatened species in the world: both the snow leopard and the Siberian tiger can be seen here.
Additionally, the park features many species of primates, including lemurs and charismatically swinging gibbons. Furthermore, Banham is home to heavy horses such as the Shire horse and Suffolk horse.
The zoo also has snakes, geckos and various species of invertebrates. You can get even closer at the Amazing Animals shows or the Birds of Prey displays, in which bald eagles, falcons, owls and vultures fly just inches over your head!
To top it all off, there are a restaurant and a coffee shop for visitors to relax. Finally, if you make a booking in advance, you can be a zoo keeper for a day and feed a giraffe or a big cat under supervision of a professional zookeeper!
