Linton Zoo is an amazing family zoo in Cambridgeshire. With its dazzling array of big cats alone it makes each visit a memorable one already. Come face to face with an impressive African lion or the elusive Amur tiger. There’s also a variety of leopards who live here. Here you’ll get up.
Extremely close to common leopards, the rare clouded leopard or the critically endangered snow leopard. But the park is also home to endangered primates, including many kinds of lemurs, including mongoose lemurs, crowned lemurs and red-ruffed lemurs. Additionally, you’ll get chills from the many coldblooded species of python, the boa constrictors, bearded dragons and leopard geckos.
Witness history when you meet the dizzying variety of ancient tortoises;
Aldabra giants, Sulcata giants, redfoots, yellowfoots, elongated, pancake, radiated, Indian star tortoises and many others are featured here. Don’t forget to check out the collection of huge beetles!
Finally, the park is known for its diverse collection of birds, ranging from exotic and tropical birds, such as toucans, parrots, hornbills and macaws, to more arctic species such as snowy owls, spectacled owls and brown wood owls. Of course you can also grab a bite or a drink from the park’s coffee shop. For more information, visit the website of Linton Zoological Garden.
