West Midland Safari Park is an immense zoo in Bewdley, Worcestershire. The zoo not only has a rich variety of animals on display in the walk-through area, it also has a large drive-through safari park and a funfair. Drive your own car through this park and enjoy animals in huge natural enclosures.

Get up close and personal with lots of big cats:

African lions, white tigers and cheetahs roam the drivethrough section of the park. See huge giraffes, familiarly-striped zebras and ancient white rhinos grazing placidly, or drive through the African elephant reserve and meet the world’s largest living terrestrial species!

Can you spot the nippy barbary sheep living among them? There’s plenty more to see in the walking area. Animals as diverse as California sea lions, goliath tarantulas, tropical reef fish, pythons and various species of poisonous snakes live here. Walk among a pack of ring-tailed lemurs in one of the biggest walk-through lemur woods in the UK.

Learn more about lemurs and other animals during feeding talks given by expert zoo staff throughout the day. Finally, kids (including grown-up kids) can take their excess energy to the funfair and enjoy rides such as the Congo Carousel or the Zambezi Water Splash!
